I love omegaverse November. This duology was wild though. I can't say that I don't get it. I absolutely wrote some Olympics fan fiction this year. And that feels like what this is. And I am not mad about it! This pack is hot, Meggie is annoying, but it was so fun. The cliff hanger at the end of book one was crap, but it resolved fairly quickly. I don't know that I would have come back to this pack if I had to wait any length of time beyond opening up the second book on my ereader that I had already borrowed. I wish I had gotten more of the Olympic village scenes, but it was still cute!
